Skills and Competencies
- 7+ years of corporate experience with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and collaborative tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compose professional correspondence.
- Detail-oriented, client-focused, and skilled at prioritizing multiple demands, time management, and working effectively under pressure.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong judgment, creativity, and the ability to anticipate and address issues.
- Strong team player, comfortable engaging with Senior Management, maintaining confidentiality, and building relationships across all organizational levels, with flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed.
Education
- Professional certifications (e.g., PACE, CAP, CAPM, PMP) that demonstrate efficiency in working with senior executives (Preferred)
Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing and dynamic Risk team at Moody’s. As Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer, this role has responsibility for supporting a senior executive at Moody’s who is on a mission to grow and scale our Risk Management function. This role demands exceptional multitasking abilities, a firm grasp of the MS Office suite, and a proactive approach to leveraging new and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the Risk organization.
- Executive Support: Manage calendar, travel, and administrative tasks.
- Proactive Assistance: Anticipate needs and streamline workload.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Administrative Duties: Coordinate meetings, events, budgets, expenses, and space usage.
- Other Projects: Support additional tasks as assigned.
- Strategic Support: Partner with Risk Leadership to drive decision-making, align initiatives with executive goals, and achieve key objectives.
- Technological Proficiency and Innovation: Leverage advanced Microsoft Office skills, adapt to new tools, and employ emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and support team objectives.
- Organizational Skills: Exhibit attention to detail, multitask effectively under pressure, and prepare materials for high-level meetings and discussions.
Problem-Solving & Initiative: Apply problem-solving techniques within policies, work independently, and collaborate as part of a global team.
About the team
The Corporate Risk and Resiliency department is dedicated to establishing a robust framework that identifies and manages risks across Moody's enabling intentional risk-taking and bolstering resilience, ensuring the protection and value enhancement for our customers, investors, employees and other stakeholders.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $78,500.00 - $113,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
