At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are-with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways.
If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.
The Product Manager will be part of our MoodyViews product organization within Moody’s Analytics. Our team has a singular focus on delivering client-driven digital products that anticipate and address rapidly evolving user needs. The Company Views Product Manager is responsible for re-envisioning our Moody’s landing page and the CreditView landing page to create responsive pages that contain relevant content that are most applicable for users, both subscribers and not.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional product squad focused on the evolution of our entity landing pages
- Drive collaboration across technology, operations, design and strategy teams to translate client needs into actionable product milestones
- Own the overall product roadmap and identify opportunities to innovate while targeting core business objectives
- Manage the rituals and ceremonies for your product squad and facilitate alignment and communication across squads to monitor interdependencies and make sound decisions
- Establish strong and collaborative relationships with business partners to help identify new product opportunities
- Work with technology to understand complexity of various solutions and participate in decision making to choose the right technology to solve customer problems
- Gather appropriate stakeholder input to build, prune, and maintain the product backlog, consisting mostly of user stories, but also defects, refactors and infrastructure work, prioritized based on user value, time dependencies, risk reduction and effort
- Identify opportunities to automate tasks, leverage technology and reduce failure points in the product
- Identify and mitigate risk and ensure controls are in place throughout the product lifecycle
About you:
- You are client-obsessed and use personas and client feedback to inform the products you bring to market
- You have a strong grasp of agile methodologies and have experience refining your way of working through retrospectives and review of product KPIs
- You are creative and can think outside of current constraints to find innovative solutions
- You are a collaborator and can build strong relationships to bring others along in your journey
- You are a passionate team member who is excited by challenges and actively participates in ideation
- You are curious and know that it’s more important to understand the questions to ask than to have all the answers
- You take ownership of results and track critical metrics and use them to drive decision-making about what’s next
- You continually improve the effectiveness of your peers and the organization through your ideas, actions, and influence. You enable the team through scalable processes
