Skills and Competencies

 

  • 7+ years of demonstrable experience in core product management practices (road mapping, prioritization, feature definition), particularly in dynamic project environments where scope and requirements evolve.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across business units and geographies to drive alignment and execution. Experience working with senior stakeholders is highly preferred.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in systematic requirements gathering, stakeholder interviewing, and managing risks when project parameters are unclear.
  • Experience within financial services, particularly involving large datasets and statistical modeling, is preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze, optimize, or establish new workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, tailored manner to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in leveraging GenAI tools to synthesize complex stakeholder inputs and generate structured requirements is a plus.
  • Familiarity with credit risk modeling concepts, methodologies, and their applications in financial services is preferred.
  • Experience using Jira and having a background in data analysis are preferred.

 

Education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • An advanced degree is preferred.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead discussions with product management and strategy teams to develop novel analytical solutions in environments where initial scope and requirements are unclear or evolving.
  • Collaborate closely with research teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders to progressively define project requirements and scope boundaries.
  • Manage cross-functional teams working on complex projects involving large datasets, statistical modeling, and AI agent systems.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements elicitation across multiple business segments to extract insights and clarify understanding.
  • Assess project feasibility, manage risks, and make informed decisions with incomplete information to ensure deliverable outcomes.
  • Translate research findings and technical capabilities into actionable product features that deliver measurable business value.
  • Navigate ambiguous project environments while maintaining focus on strategic objectives and business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with senior business leaders to align product initiatives with organizational goals and market opportunities.

 

About the team

 

The Credit Centre of Excellence (COE) team at Moody’s Analytics is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our industry-leading credit analytics and predictive modeling capabilities. We work closely with various departments including product management, commercial strategy, and go-to-market leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality credit risk assessments and solutions. By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work in defining key new capabilities and analytics, working with established and emerging technologies to deliver insights in the era of exponential risk.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $141,200.00 -  $204,650.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
