Events & Outreach Manager

Department: Global Marketing & Events

Job Description: The Events & Outreach Manager will lead the development and execution of a diverse range of outreach activities, including webinars, conferences, and third-party sponsorships. Your role will focus on elevating the firm's thought leadership, products, and services. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders across departments and marketing teams, you will drive both the strategic vision and the detailed execution of events, ensuring they resonate with our audience and objectives. A critical part of this role involves analyzing event outcomes, incorporating industry best practices such as audience engagement techniques, and leveraging insights to continuously refine and elevate our event strategy. Ability to multi task, strong written and communication skills and attention to detail are key attributes.

The role:

· Strategic event planning & execution: Design and implement an annual events calendar, aligning with the company’s strategic goals and market demands. Your responsibilities include setting KPIs, creating project scopes, sourcing vendors and venues, managing budgets, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

· Stakeholder collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with team members, marketing, and adjacent groups to design events that resonate. You will play a pivotal role in audience segmentation, enhancing event attendance and engagement, and crafting comprehensive communication strategies.

· Innovative audience engagement: Deliver an exceptional experience to attendees through cutting-edge engagement tools, providing access to impactful marketing collateral, and ensuring responsive communication.

· Data-driven analysis & improvement: Employ a meticulous approach to analyzing event outcomes. Leverage insights from post-event debriefs to refine and elevate our event strategy continuously.

· Best practices & scalable frameworks: Establish and implement industry-leading and global practices and frameworks to ensure our events set a high standard for attendee experience, executing effectively and efficiently across the board.

· Cross-functional team support: Offer proactive support for complex event executions, demonstrating a keen aptitude for managing multifaceted projects with precision and creativity.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Business or Marketing with a minimum of 3+ years of events experience across in-person, virtual and hybrid; work experience in financial industry a plus

· Experience managing events end-to-end from positioning and planning to execution and analysis using planning tools and marketing systems

· Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain a fine attention to detail

· Team player with cross-functional teamwork experience

· Insight-oriented project management and strong time management skills; proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically with tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proficient negotiation capabilities, to foster strong professional relationships internally and externally.

· Technological proficiency, particularly with MS Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint), Salesforce, Marketo, and Zoom, is highly valued.

· Ability to travel as needed ~20-25%

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$78,000 - [[$110,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
