The AI Workforce Enablement Team 

The AI Workforce Enablement team at Moody’s Corporation plays a crucial role in strategically advising the organization on leveraging agentic AI technologies. This team identifies high-value opportunities to embed agentic AI into business processes, aiming to capture value through automation and efficiency. It prepares the company to adopt these advanced technologies efficiently and effectively, ensuring a seamless integration into existing workflows. As part of a highly strategic initiative to empower our business with best-in-class, cutting-edge technology, this team will be integral to crafting the evolution of our workforce, and company. 

 

Role Overview 

The Head of AI Workforce Enablement will lead the People Team’s efforts to power the evolution of our industry-leading business in the era of AI agents and digital coworkers. The role will be responsible for designing and operationalizing the frameworks that enable a hybrid workforce—where digital agents and human talent collaborate to deliver exponential value. This leader will design, socialize and implement our global approach to embedding AI into the core of how we attract, develop, and grow talent. Managing a small team of internal AI and business process consultants, the ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, fluent in AI concepts, and deeply attuned to the business and cultural dynamics of a global organization with a rich history as a regulated entity as well as a strong risk operating system.

 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Global AI-Enablement Approach 

  • Design, build, socialize, and deploy a strategic and global approach across Moody’s to capture value from AI and digital coworkers 

  • Evangelize the importance of agentic solutions and the Moody’s enablement approach to influence senior stakeholders as well as external parties, as applicable, to share our company’s industry-leading progress and innovation 

  • Work with senior leadership to continually evolve our approach to AI enablement in alignment with the rapidly shifting technological landscape.  

2. Talent Strategy & Acquisition 

  • Partner with the Talent organization to define the skills and capabilities needed in an AI-augmented workforce. 

  • Develop AI-informed compensation and workforce segmentation models to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices. 

  • Build frameworks to assess and attract talent capable of working alongside AI agents. 

3. Learning & Upskilling 

  • Lead the design of adaptive learning programs that teach employees how to build, prompt, and collaborate with AI agents. 

  • Partner with Talent Development to embed AI fluency across all levels of the organization. 

  • Establish benchmarks to evaluate the effectiveness of AI-related learning and development initiatives. 

4. Workforce Planning & Operating Model Design 

  • Reimagine workforce planning by identifying which tasks are best suited for humans vs. AI agents. 

  • Collaborate with business, technology, and operations leaders to continuously iterate on new operating models (“three-in-a-box” approach). 

  • Ensure data quality and process integrity in AI-enabled workflows. 

5. Change Leadership & Storytelling 

  • Serve as a visible and compelling voice to influence the AI transformation within the People function and across the enterprise. 

  • Translate complex AI topics into accessible narratives that inspire confidence and action. 

  • Represent Moody’s at internal and external forums, sharing our journey and learnings with credibility and clarity. 

6. Governance & Ethics 

  • Embed responsible AI principles into all people processes, ensuring transparency, fairness, and ethical alignment. 

  • Partner with Legal, Risk, and Tech to align with enterprise-wide AI governance frameworks. 

 

Qualifications 

  • At least 10-12 years of experience, ideally in management consulting, business process improvement, or similar internal strategic advisory role, preferably in the People Strategy and/or AI space. 

  • Proven track-record of success in the evolution of an HR function, workforce strategy, or digital enablement roles. 

  • Experience designing and implementing talent strategies for large, global enterprises. 

  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, including GenAI and agentic systems, and their implications for work. 

  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategy to enterprise goals. 

  • Ability to build exceptionally strong relationships and garner trust with all levels of an organization, including executive leadership. 

  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills; able to simplify complexity and inspire diverse audiences. 

  • Agile mindset with a bias for experimentation, iteration, and continuous learning. 

  • Strong consultative skillset and approach; ability to strategically advise business leaders. 

  • Track record of success delivering large-scale, cross-functional programs from strategy through execution. 

  • Ability to think strategically while effectively and efficiently executing tactically.  

 

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $208,200.00 - $301,950.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
