Title: Senior Analytics & Modeling Analyst
Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007
Duties: Review and monitor complex cash flow models using fixed income software. Assist with ad-hoc quantitative projects to update and improve rating process (structured finance simulations, macroeconomic projects, and related). Contribute to professional training of models and scorecards for rating teams and other analytical teams. Assist developers in creation of models and scorecards. Act as a key point of contact to provide guidance to rating teams to ensure consistency with rating models and scorecards when appropriate. Draft and review requirements for new and updated model and scorecards to be used by software engineers during implementation. Ensure that requirement documents are consistent, complete, and adhere to relevant policy and procedures. Parse development tasks into issue tracking software. Test implementation by software engineers, track project progress, and create status reports. Prepare and coordinate responses to model and scorecard related requests from external and internal parties, such as model support. Lead efforts and co-ordination around submissions of software updates for internal approval. Develop in-depth knowledge of Credit Rating Models and Credit Rating Scorecards. Create user guides and provide user training on new and existing Credit Rating Models and Credit Rating Scorecards. Provide guidance and instructions for team members.
Requirements: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field plus one (1) year of experience as an Analyst or in
a related position performing financial, credit, or equity analysis. Must have experience with the following: applying knowledge of Six Sigma and working in an agile environment; knowledge of fixed income portfolio analysis; developing credit risk models and applying knowledge of financial quantitative methods and data analytics; applying knowledge of structured finance and translating complex legal documents into cash flow models; applying knowledge of advanced statistical distributions to analyze credit risk model outputs; and adapting to software applications developed using different programming languages.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $132,371 to $192,300/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
