Skills and Competencies

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior client-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role within the information services, data analytics, or enterprise software industries is required.
  • Deep domain expertise with MDM/Sales and Marketing, CRM data enrichment, lead generation, account planning, and go-to-market strategy use-cases is essential to guide solution strategy.
  • A proven ability to architect and oversee the analysis of complex business processes, particularly in sales and revenue operations, with a knack for identifying strategic efficiency improvements.
  • A strong commercial mindset and sales mentality with a specific drive to win new, high-value customers and act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders.
  • A proven track record leading the technical sales of complex data, software, or SaaS solutions. Extensive experience with complex enterprise sales cycles and the Salesforce ecosystem is a major plus.
  • Strategic proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with a deep understanding of GenAI and the ability to articulate its business value to executive audiences.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with gravitas and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders at the C-level.
  • The position requires the ability to travel up to 30%.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities Lead the pre-sales function for the Sales Acceleration Task Force, defining solution strategy and guiding the alignment of Moody’s cutting-edge capabilities with client needs.

  • Lead and define the pre-sales strategy for the Sales Acceleration Task Force, guiding the team in understanding client needs in the Sales & Marketing domain.
  • Architect and oversee in-depth analyses of client go-to-market processes to identify strategic pain points and areas for high-impact improvement.
  • Lead the demonstration of value for Moody’s Sales Acceleration solutions through compelling product demos and high-stakes proof-of-concepts (POCs) that showcase clear revenue growth potential.
  • Design and champion custom solution architectures by leveraging Moody's portfolio of data and software, often in conjunction with the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Act as a senior advisor and partner to sales colleagues, relationship managers, and Salesforce partners to guide the pre-sales process and drive deal closure on the most complex opportunities.
  • Shape the product roadmap by translating strategic market feedback and client requirements into actionable insights for our product development teams.

Our Sales Acceleration Task Force is a focused, highly skilled, cross-functional group assembled to build the foundations of Moody’s success in the Sales & Marketing business. We harness Moody’s cutting-edge data estate and Generative AI capabilities to transform fragmented go-to-market processes into intelligent, data-driven workflows. By resolving foundational data challenges and enriching CRM systems, we empower our clients’ sales teams to identify high-value opportunities and deliver actionable insights.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,700.00 - $196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
