Skills and Competencies

· 10+ years of experience leading strategic programs, executive events, or high-level customer engagement initiatives, ideally in a complex, global organization.

· Inspirational people leader with proven experience building and developing high-performing teams.

· Strong executive presence with exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, and a track record of building trust with senior leaders.

· Collaborative, big-picture thinker who excels at translating business strategy into impactful programs that deliver measurable value.

· Data-driven mindset with demonstrated experience establishing program KPIs and communicating impact to leadership.

· Willingness to travel as needed (~20–30%).

 

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

 

Responsibilities: Set the vision and strategy for Moody's most critical customer engagement initiatives, from flagship events to strategic partnerships.

· Develop and lead the overarching strategy for high-impact marketing and events programs, ensuring alignment with Moody's strategic vision.

· Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement.

· Oversee the design and execution of flagship programs, including advisory boards, C-suite thought leadership events, and other high-touch activations.

· Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing strategic insights to shape program direction and maximize impact.

· Build and maintain strong partnerships across marketing, sales, product, and communications to drive cross-functional alignment.

· Establish clear KPIs for strategic programs; measure impact, report outcomes, and apply insights to refine future initiatives.

· Manage strategic-level budgets and vendor relationships to ensure operational excellence and resource optimization.

· Stay ahead of industry trends and evolving customer needs to continually enhance program strategy and relevance.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $134,400.00 - $194,850.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
