Skills and Competencies

As Director of Data & Reporting Transformation for Moody’s Analytics (MA), you will spearhead high-impact programs that accelerate our growth and transformation. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will partner with executive leadership across Strategy, Product, Sales, Finance, etc. to tackle the most pressing priorities. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organization to ensure that we constantly identify, prioritize, and deliver transformative initiatives that will drive value for MA. If you are a strategic thinker with a bias for action who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, then this role is for you.

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

 

Responsibilities

Initiative Execution: 

  • Manage the execution of a portfolio of strategic, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assemble cross-functional teams, identifying an inclusive set of stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain roadmap of key activities, sufficient to drive progress and escalate potential blockers.
  • Clearly frame current state, and distill need for change, along with evaluated option-sets and recommendations for path forward.

Cross-functional stakeholder alignment & executive presence:

  • Facilitate executive-level workshops and steering-committee meetings to align stakeholders and secure senior leadership buy-in across the organization
  • Synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into concise presentations and recommendations for C-suite and Board-level audience
  • Enable organizational evolution by developing stakeholder-focused content that drives localized and sustained adoption of key initiatives and decisions.

 

About the team

We partner closely with business unit, strategy, sales and finance leaders to ensure cohesive execution across portfolio strategy, strategic investments and segment-specific plans. Our work is grounded in rigorous analysis, cross-functional collaboration and a commitment to delivering sustainable value across the enterprise.

 

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $163,300.00 - $236,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
