Skills and Competencies

  • 7+ years’ experience in financial services, with strong preference for credit analytical roles at buyside / asset management, focused on corporates, banking or other financial institutions
  • Experience in product strategy, business strategy and external-facing web/data products is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to stay on top of market and business trends, assess the competitive landscape, and client feedback to identify opportunities, architect product strategy and drive through strategic initiatives.
  • A proactive, pragmatic, hands-on problem solver —demonstrated ability to roll up your sleeves, take initiatives and drive results independently, rather than waiting for direction.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach and a track record of developing and executing strategies in dynamic, client-focused environments.


Education 

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field, including finance, economics, econometrics and other science major (statistics, math, physics, etc.)

 

Responsibilities

Lead product strategy and growth initiatives for credit solutions within the Moody’s flagship content platform, MoodysView. Act as subject-matter-expert in the credit space for corporate and financial institutions sectors.

 

  • Independently lead efforts to stay on top of market and business trends, define client personas and workflows, conduct market research, gather competitive intelligence, and size markets to identify growth opportunities
  • Develop business proposals, prioritize opportunities and execute strategies to grow revenues and profit margins
  • Drive product initiatives through effective collaboration with product management, data strategy, go-to-market, sales, data / content sourcing teams
  • Establish KPIs and targeted outcomes to validate and refine strategic direction
  • Act as business owner of the MoodysView credit products, including but not limited to developing business growth targets and forecasts, business plans, and monitor performance
  • Support client and sales inquiries with the objective of growing and maintaining the MoodysView book of business

Our Digital Content and Innovation team is responsible for managing Moody’s flagship research, data and analytical platform and Moody’s cutting edge GenAI powered capabilities.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is £102,000.00 - £147,900.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
