Skills and Competencies

•    Works autonomously to design strategy, influence and execute for components of projects you are responsible for 
•    Strong presentation skills and experience building executive-level decks 
•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data-driven insights with compelling storytelling 
•    Strong project management skills and experience running complex projects end-to-end 
•    Excel and analytical skills (creating pivots and analyzing trends) 
•    Internal communications experience (preferred) 
•    Experience working in organizational transformation, with a focus on culture and change (preferred)

 

Education 

A Bachelor’s/undergraduate degree is required

 

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AVP to join the Employee Experience team for a 12-month secondment to cover a parental leave.  The Employee Experience team is seeking an accomplished Employee Experience Partner that will play a central role in helping to implement, design and build key initiatives focused on strengthening and enhancing the employee experience at MCO globally.  

  • Develop and implement inclusive internal communication strategies related to Moody’s people investments, collaborating with the internal communications team.
  • Lead the continued rollout and engagement efforts for IM’PACT, with a focus on the launch of monetary recognition in Q2, including associated change management efforts.
  • Manage the recognition budget, ensuring alignment with actual spend, providing updates to stakeholders, and executing action plans to avoid overspending.
  • Analyze data and align findings with company objectives, creating compelling presentations to illustrate how recognition initiatives impact the organization.
  • Support ongoing recognition efforts, such as promotions and service anniversaries.
  • Contribute to the development of the employee engagement and listening strategy, including research on best practices and preparation of insights for stakeholders.
  • Perform detailed analysis of engagement survey results, highlighting key insights and creating visuals to effectively communicate findings.
  • Support the design and advancement of a best-in-class onboarding strategy for new joiners, including conducting research and building a business case.
  • Act as a thought leader across all Employee Experience disciplines by researching and identifying trends and opportunities to enhance culture and organizational effectiveness. 

 

About the team

The Employee Experience team, part of the Talent organization at Moody's, plays a crucial role in enhancing and strengthening the overall employee experience globally. This team is responsible for designing and implementing key initiatives that focus on employee recognition, engagement, and overall satisfaction. Some examples of this include the rollout and oversight of IM’PACT, administering and assessing the results of the Business Engagement Survey (BES) and the US Great Place to Work (GPTW) survey, as well as managing the US GTPW certification process.  
Overall, the Employee Experience team is dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging work environment that supports the professional growth and well-being of all employees at Moody's.

 

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $134,400.00 - $194,850.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a completion bonus. Moody’s also offers insurance and a discounted employee stock purchase plan for limited duration employees.
