Qualifications
• 8 + years of related work experience in financial services and/or regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in business process analysis, root cause analysis, and strengthening operational controls.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power BI, PowerPoint and CoPilot.
• Self-starter and team player with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple, competing priorities.
• Highly organized and efficient, with attention to detail, especially in managing documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, training materials, and performance metrics.
• Data Management background and/or Six Sigma Green belt or higher a plus.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise on the end-to-end reporting and rating processes, global regulatory policies and procedures as well as ensure operational procedures and guidelines are followed.
• Partner with Technology, Product Analysts, Data Owners, and Compliance to enhance/design new reports and processes by leading re-engineering/remediation activities that support the global, end-to-end Moody’s Ratings reporting process, and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong operational controls to safeguard data integrity, improve report accuracy, reduce risk, support quarterly risk assessments and ensure root cause analysis and related activities are completed to remediate risk issues.
• Approve process changes, manage new/enhanced business requirements from stakeholders, prioritizes backlog for reports as well as performs UAT Testing and business readiness activities.
• Responsible for addressing all issues or inquiries related to the report portfolio being managed and driving discussions with the analytical community and other Moody’s teams (e.g., ROC,
• Moody’s Ratings Risk Compliance, Government and Public Affairs, Legal, Central IT, etc.) to effectively remediate issues or inquiries.
• Define metrics that indicate process performance and data quality capabilities to monitor report processes and work with technology partners to create dashboards to be shared with stakeholders.
• Continuously seek out opportunities to streamline and standardize business processes and enhance operational controls and efficiencies using Six Sigma tools and approaches.
About the Team
The Regulatory Reporting team within Moody's Ratings Operations and Controls (ROC) is responsible for the implementation, execution, and delivery of regulatory reports and product management of our regulatory website.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $134,400.00 - $194,850.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
