Skills and Competencies

5-7 years of solid, diverse work experience in the IT industry, including experience in Network, Cloud or Security engineering technologies:

    • Palo Alto Firewalls, VPN
    • ForeScout NAC
    • Cloudflare DNS, Certificates, WAF
    • Browser Isolation tools
    • Basic - advanced level for AWS, Azure, GCP

Education

BS or BA degree or relevant certifications, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

Network Security team is looking for an Architect role to be able to design, architect, and integrate the network security portfolio of tools into an Global Enterprise Network.

  • Support successful delivery of Information Security projects and services for our customers by working directly with key business stakeholders and technology SMEs.
  • Provide architecture, engineering, and operational support for Network Security products, Firewalls, VPN, NAC, WAF, DNS, Certificates, and Cloud Principals.
  • Support the evaluation of security concerns with new and emerging technologies.
  • Mentor and guide other teams in the organization on architectural designs, concepts, and best practices.
  • Ability to work with a groups to come up with secure architectural designs, document those designs, and be able to explain those to others.
  • Assist with creating security designs and configure Security Controls within the Cyber Security Engineering portfolio
  • Develop, collect, and mature security metrics for IT Risk programs.

About the team

The Cybersecurity team is globally responsible for helping the organization balance risk by aligning policies and procedures with Moody’s business and regulatory requirements. The team is responsible for the development, enforcement and monitoring of security controls, policies and procedures, disaster recovery programs, GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) reporting and the delivery of security services including the company’s Cyber Security program.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$140,200 - [[$203,350, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
