Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a business analyst capacity with a strong focus on financial models

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills for handling complex data and processes.

  • Experience with creating and improving processes, particularly in a structured and analytical environment.

  • Experience leading and synthesizing customer and/or user views into critical requirements.

  • Proficiency in Vizio and/or Lucid charts a plus

  • Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.

  • Experience working with and leading self-directed teams.

  • Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Mathematical Finance, or a related field

 

Responsibilities:

  •  Analyze model analytics to identify variations and commonalities.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders and advance Methodology Vision objectives.

  • Define and enhance business process requirements with process and product owners.

  • Lead the development of a document management system for methodology content.

  • Develop data requirements and optimize analytical workflows for robust data analysis.

  • Streamline operational efficiencies in methodology processes using analytical insights.

  • Implement methodology library initiatives and promote standardized content templates.

  • Establish clear metrics and controls to monitor success, manage risk, and ensure data integrity.

 

About the team:

The Model and Methodology Development Group (MMDG) at Moody's Ratings is responsible for developing, revising, and publishing all methodologies, models, scorecards, and tools used by the agency. The Methodology Vision Team ensures the effective implementation and documentation of analytics that support these methodologies.

 

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$134,400.00]] -  [[$194,850.00]], depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
