Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 8 years experience in corporate AV/Support role
- 3 years of management experience
- Experience with the following technologies - MSFT Teams, Neat, Crestron, Poly, Extron, BIAMP, Aver,NEC, Sony, Shure
- Proven experience in an AV technical role, with a strong understanding of AV systems and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of experience
Responsibilities
A successful candidate will play a key role in working with stakeholders to ensure they receive an outstanding experience and flawless event. The Audio Visual (AV) Technical Team Lead will be responsible for managing and supporting all audiovisual systems within meeting rooms and event spaces at our head office. This role involves ensuring the operational efficiency of AV equipment, providing high-quality support for senior leadership events, and leading a team of AV technicians.

- Schedule team members for events and meetings, ensuring coverage and redundancy.
- Technical Expertise and Support:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AV equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality audio and visual experiences.
- Set up and configure AV systems for meetings and events, tailoring setups to specific requirements of senior leadership events.
- Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and trends to recommend upgrades and improvements.
- Event Support:
- Ensure events are thoroughly planned for an accommodated in order for a faultless event to take place.
- React quickly and decisively should an issue arise during an event to minimize impact.
- Coordinate with event planners and stakeholders to understand event requirements and customize AV setups accordingly.
- Conduct pre-event checks and rehearsals to ensure all AV systems function as expected.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with stakeholders at all levels to understand their vision and requirements for events.
- Provide technical advice and support to non-technical staff and stakeholders, ensuring they can effectively use AV equipment.
About the team
The Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) team in New York, based in the World Trade Center office, provides technical support for video conferencing, meeting rooms, events, and control systems. This team of five collaborates closely with internal partners, covering 731 events and 766 meeting room support requests last year. They are committed to excellence and passionate about new technology, consistently delivering exceptional service to internal customers.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$169,800 - [[$246,150, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
