Skills and Competencies

 

· At least 3-5 years professional work experience in project management. PMP (PMI) Certification is desirable

· At least 2-3 years’ experience in scrum, agile or lean development environments. Scrum certifications are preferred, but not mandatory

· Extensive experience with Jira. Jira Administration skills are preferred

· Experience in software delivery and/or financial services industries is preferred

· Artificial intelligence (AI) exposure and skills are desirable.

· Ability to adjust priorities and goals quickly and effectively in changing circumstances

· Proven leader with outstanding interpersonal, communication, and effective relationship building skills at all levels within an organization

· Effective time management, problem solving and decision-making skills

· Ability to work well under pressure, respond to tight deadlines and exercise excellent judgment in setting priorities for own work, and the work of the team

· A self-starter, solution-oriented team player with leadership skills, and a desire to grow their career

· Ability to work in effectively with distributed teams when applicable

· Travel on occasions – no more than 20%

Responsibilities

As an Asst Director – Delivery Manager with Moody’s Analytics you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of Moody’s Analytics’ Lending Solutions products to new and existing clients. Moody’s Analytics products are used by financial institutions both nationally and internationally for credit analysis, pre- and post-approval stress testing, and ongoing loan management. As an Asst Director - Delivery Manager you will lead teams and work individually to ensure that all internal and external projects conform to the best practices defined by the Moody’s Analytics Project Management Office.

 

Specifically, the Delivery Manager will:

· Define and execute project plans for various user groups including Product, Engineering and Quality Assurance

· Coordinate the completion of assigned software development projects throughout the organization that meet required specification and quality goals

· Assist in the creation of product roadmap and backlog by collaborating with product, design, development, and testing resources

· Coordinate and collaborate across functional groups to manage dependencies and remove blockers which may impede team progress

· Conduct daily stand-ups to facilitate successful execution of team initiatives

· Provide daily/weekly reporting on project health, including detailed progress, risks, issues, and forecasting

· Develop and manage risks/issues/decisions logs and escalate to department managers, senior team members as appropriate

· Develop and execute improvements in operating effectiveness and efficiency

· Prepare detailed status reports for senior management

· Support large scale change management programs led by senior team members; manage work stream within a larger project

· Build and maintain high quality relationships with senior management

 

About the team

 

The Lending Solutions organization develops and implements client-specific solutions to become a strategic partner to banks in activities supporting the end-to-end Lending value chain and asset classes. The Delivery Manager will serve as a member of the project management office (PMO), focusing on the development of complex software products that are used by client-facing teams to develop and deploy client specific solutions.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $103,300.00 - $149,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
