The Moody’s Foundation is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of our employees and our communities around the globe through philanthropy and employee engagement. Our commitment is built on our employees’ deeply ingrained sense of social responsibility and the recognition that our company grows stronger by helping to advance the lives of others through responsible business practices and corporate citizenship.

Grants

The Moody’s Foundation is committed to supporting education through, in particular, the study of mathematics, finance and economics as well as specific initiatives in the areas of economic development, health and human services, arts and culture and civic programs.

Global Volunteer Programs

Through employee engagement programs, we promote individual and team-based community service activity to strengthen colleague relationships and positively impact our nonprofit partners, as well as those that are personally meaningful to our employees.

Employee Giving

The Moody’s Foundation offers Matching Gifts, Dollars, for Doers, and Give As You Earn* programs that help to enrich our employees workplace experience while supporting nonprofit organizations in our communities.

Managing Our Business

Moody’s believes in conducting our business with the highest standards of integrity. 5,553 students competed in Moody’s Mega Math Challenge for $125,000 in scholarships.
$670,184 donated to nonprofits supported by employees through Moody’s Matching Gift program
$20,000 contributed to Give2Asia, supporting relief efforts after the 2015 Nepalese earthquake.
Our New York headquarters recycled 475 tons of paper and 5.6 tons of glass, metals and plastics.
Moody’s saved 1.2 million kilowatt hours of electricity in 2015.

Caring for the Environment

Moody’s Corporation is committed to doing our part to protect and care for the environments in which we live and work, including compliance with the letter and spirit of all relevant environmental legislation. The environmental policy is available for public review and is communicated to employees to increase their awareness of environmental concerns and to further encourage them to minimize the impact they have on the environment.
