VP Mgr-Software Engineering

Role/Responsibilities :

The Vice President of Software Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of applications, engineering, and operations. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of Software & Systems engineering, a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, and the ability to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization. Suitable candidate will be required to spend 2-3 days per week in Moody’s Gurugram office. This role is critical to the success of the team and will require close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with TSG, business, and corporate goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Systems Engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of end-to-end applications.

Oversee engineering and operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

Develop and implement strategies to improve systems performance, reliability, and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.

Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Resolve client satisfaction issues and ensure high-priority/escalated issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Contributes to technology roadmaps by partnering with Engineering and Architecture functions.

Act as deputy to Regional Site Lead (SVP) in all TSG, GCC, Site events, engagements both Internal & external.

Work closely with the cybersecurity team to ensure applications and infrastructure meet key operational security metrics.

15+ years of experience in leading & delivering engineering, Product development & Ops.

Highly experienced in E2E Solutions delivery of Applications, Products, Services.
