Systems Engineer (Endpoint)

We are looking for a Systems Engineer with a primary focus on Endpoint Engineering. The successful candidate will be joining a very dynamic environment and will be responsible for contributing to the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our endpoint environment. You will be an influencer and team member within an established team leveraging Intune, Entra, and Power BI. You will ensure that our endpoint environment meets our business requirements and provide a world class user experience for our clients while protecting the firm.

Skills and Competencies

· Minimum 4 years’ experience configuring, deploying, and managing governance of a modern endpoint infrastructure environments at scale.

· Proficient knowledge and understanding of Cloud Concepts.

· Proficient knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

· Proficient knowledge in automation, including Azure Automation Accounts, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.

· Working knowledge Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

· Proficient knowledge and understanding of Entra AD (SSO, Entra Hybrid Join).

· Proficient knowledge of integrated components, including Windows Server AD domain services, AD Certificate Services, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects, permissions, and authentication.

· Working knowledge and hands on experience in Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Amazon AWS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Power BI, Autopilot, Zero Touch Provisioning, macOS, and Windows 11.

· Proficient in a scripting languages PowerShell and Python.

· Proficient in using vendor provided APIs.

· Possesses skills to provide consulting on Microsoft topics and designs with team members and other peer teams.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent area of study.

· Industry certifications in relevant areas is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

· Optimize Platform Performance: Continuously enhance system functionality for a better in class user experience.

· Innovate Technology Solutions: Pioneer new technologies and methodologies to address complex business challenges and drive organizational growth.

· Endpoint Infrastructure Focus: Specialize in engineering tasks for improving endpoint services and management by building and leveraging data integrations with Power BI.

· User Experience (UX) Evaluation: Define UX standards, optimize interfaces, and anticipate user interactions with system updates.

· Enhance User Experience Design: Foster employee productivity through user-centered design improvements.

· Interdepartmental Coordination: Work with network, server, and security teams for seamless infrastructure compatibility.

· Automation and Scripting: Develop tools for more efficient Windows and macOS endpoint management and deployment.

· Continuous Process Improvement: Identify streamlining opportunities for applications, systems, and platforms.

About the Team: Join the Workplace Services Endpoint Engineering Team and you'll work at the highest systems level to provide expert advice and counsel to users, management, and IT project teams for systems of the most complex nature (typically crossing function/location lines).
