Be part of a team responsible for designing and developing the critical business applications in the Core Products suite. You will use best-of-breed technology from both established vendors such as Microsoft as well as open-source technology. As a Staff Software Engineer in Test, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in testing, developing, and innovating together as you bring your considerable software engineering skills to our dynamically growing organization. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong programming and automation skills, expertise in test architecture and frameworks, proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, excellent problem-solving abilities, and leadership in driving quality initiatives and mentoring teams. This role requires a mix of hands-on technical expertise, strategic thinking and leadership abilities to ensure high-quality software delivery at scale.


Responsibilities include:
Define and design the overall test strategy and automation frameworks.
Ensure scalability, efficiency and maintainability of test solutions.
Write, maintain and improve automated test scripts for performance, stress and load testing.
Advocate for quality at all stages of the development lifecycle.
Lead initiatives to improve team-wide testing proficiency and efficiency.
Define the metrics and KPIs to measure testing effectiveness and product quality.
Research and integrate cutting-edge testing technologies and methodologies.
Drive the adoption of AI/ML in test automation where applicable.
Provide clear and actionable reports on testing progress, quality metrics and potential risks.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality expectations and timelines.


Qualifications:
Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Experience with web-based product or services
Proficient with a high-level language such as Java, Groovy, C# .NET, C++
Experience with Elasticsearch or Splunk to develop dashboards for data visualization
Experience in columnar data storage format such as Apache Parquet
Familiarity with relational and big data technologies such as Postgres, Aurora, MS SQL and similar technologies
Experience in unit & integration testing techniques
Hands on experience with test automation tools including JMeter, including JSR223 Groovy scripting and modules
Creates and runs automated tests against REST API
Passion for finding and solving problems
Excellent communication skills, proven ability to convey complex ideas to others in a concise and clear manner
Ability to work across functional team boundaries
Attention to detail
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $168K- $215K, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
