Core Responsibilities:
- Utilize data analysis tools and business intelligence software to track sales and revenue (topline) performance and trends.
- Oversee the creation of regular reports and insights on key topline metrics to assist in strategic decision-making
- Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives high performance and professional development.
- Create and maintain financial models, reports, and analytics to support strategic business decisions and drive topline strategy.
- Collaborate with the executive, business finance officers (BFO) and sales team to develop accurate sales and revenue forecasts and projections
- Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements and solutions
- Present key financial insights, performance updates, and ad hoc analysis to senior leadership.
- Work with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
- Identifies key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and coordinating with multiple business units.
- Establish and enhance cross functional and departmental partnerships through special projects and topline strategy analytics.
- Promote a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
- Support, partner, and mentor other analysts on ad hoc projects and set the pace for financial analyst team.
Qualifications
- +5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, banking, consulting, financial services or a related analytical role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or BI tools like Tableau)
- Prior knowledge on SaaS related products, and applicable US GAAP revenue recognition rules
- All around team player, fast, and self-learning individual
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, handling multiple tasks with flexibility and a positive attitude
- Proactive and solution-forward, bias for action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$110,900 - [[$160,850, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
