  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative skills with an ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely, supportable decisions
  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Education

  • 3+ years of experience in extracting, transforming, loading, and visualizing data.
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or other quantitative/technology field

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst - BI&A supports the delivery of complex Business Intelligence and data solutions, primarily for business stakeholder consumption, and leads low/medium complexity projects for the Business Intelligence & Analytics team.

  • Assess the current state of a process that requires a BI solution by mapping the process and identifying data inputs and outputs.
  • Lead the documentation business and technical requirements for BI solutions
  • Lead the creation of advanced Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate) BI solutions to support key business decisions, ensuring quality and accuracy of deliverables
  • Review existing BI solutions to incorporate best practices to optimize their performance
  • Translate business requirements into an optimal BI solution with minimal supervision
  • Understand bugs in BI solutions and provide efficient solutions to stakeholders
  • Maintain data models and dashboards that support key business decisions
  • Provide BI advisory/consultancy/training to team members and business stakeholders
  • Makes decisions appropriate for level of responsibility, raises concerns to the appropriate level of management, and keeps management informed of activities; Relies on management for key decision-making
  • Receives new assignments from manager / senior team members to execute
  • Manager / senior team members review deliverables
  • Builds productive team and business stakeholder working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating

The Finance Transformation, Data and Systems team enables the Finance department with the accessibility of data, technology and analytic / BI solutions. We accelerate Finance Transformation by enabling a data-driven and digital culture.
