Position overview:

The Software Engineer is a key contributor to the Data Engineering and Configuration team and is responsible for design, implementation, and configuration of Enterprise Data Management tools (Data Governance and Data Management etc.). The ideal candidate will lead by experience in development and product releases in a fast -paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar languages used for data engineering.

· Hands-on experience developing Data Integration solutions in the Cloud (AWS / Azure)

· Hands-on Experience in UI Development with React/Node.js

· Experience with the Cloud Architecture in AWS / Azure - knowledge of multiple components in the cloud and how all the services interact

· Experience working with Power BI /Tableau for Data Visualization

· Spring Boot experience is a plus

· Interface with Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Analysts to gather requirements and provide support.

· Demonstrate robust debugging skills and enforcing strict standards for code quality on python (or similar) libraries.

· Ability to work in agile environments with a global setting.

· Proficiency in spark and AWS Glue for big data processing

· Experience with automation and event driven implementations.

· Experience with MDM (Master Data Management) technologies and concepts - Semarchy/Informatica etc.

· Experience with Data Governance tools and framework - Collibra/Purview etc.

· Working knowledge of integration patterns and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

· 6-10 years' experience in Data Engineering with hands on experience implementing

· Data Integration on the Cloud

· Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Python

· Knowledge of React/Node.js

· AWS or Azure Certification is a plus

· Experience with MDM tools like Informatica/Semarchy a big plus

· Experience with Data Governance tools like Collibra/Purview a plus

· Bachelor's or master's degree in related field.
