Skills and Competencies

This role will report to the Vice President, Third Party Risk Management, Moody’s Ratings and will support the development and maintenance of the Moody’s Ratings (MR) Third Party Due Diligence programme.

The Senior Analyst - Third Party Risk Management core responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting third party onboarding for third party due diligence
  • Developing and issuing due diligence reports to business owners
  • Owning and maintaining the Coupa Risk Assess module the TPRM team use for SLA monitoring
  • Strong technical skills, related to risk management for a globally regulated organization
  • Good understanding of technical standards and certifications with ability to explain them in simple manner

Education

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably IT, Risk or Business Management
  • Graduate degree and/or relevant professional risk management qualification a plus
  • 3+ years of business experience with at least 2 years in risk, compliance, or internal controls

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of risk management processes and controls, ideally gained through working with complex global organisations. They will have robust knowledge of risk tools, technology and technical certifications. Prior experience working with third parties is highly desirable.

  • Assess new and existing third party relationships and map them to the critical or important functions within Moody’s Ratings to enable accurate Third Party Risk Management activities
  • Supporting third party onboarding for third party due diligence
  • Develop and issue the due diligence reports to business owners
  • Track and monitor remediation actions for third parties
  • Create and look after third party due diligence data quality and reports to support third party risk activities
  • Track delivery of annual due diligence reviews
  • Set up, review, and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in place for MR critical third parties.
  • Maintain the SLA monitoring module in Coupa to ensure robust data accuracy, including Joiners, Movers, Leavers (JML) both internally and externally
  • Promptly address internal and external inquiries on SLA monitoring
  • Assist key business owners with SLA monitoring remediation plans
  • Assist with planning and implementation of process updates and system upgrades
  • Contribute to other TPRM activities as directed by the line manager

About the team

Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is the identification and assessment of third party risk and the ongoing management and monitoring of third parties. The role of the MR TPRM team in the Chief Operating Office (COO) is to make it simpler and better for business owners to fulfil their responsibilities associated with their use of third parties as outlined in the TPRM Policy. The MR TPRM team does this by building the infrastructure (processes, systems, tools) to either support business owners with their responsibilities or fully complete them on their behalf.

Annual base salary gross: 50,800.00 to 73,600 EUR. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
