The Role

As a key member of the Moody’s Local regional team, the Strategy & Business Analyst will be afforded unique visibility into Latin America domestic strategies cutting across all lines of business and have the opportunity to contribute to their execution and success in a dynamic environment. In this role, responsibilities will vary, but, in general, will include researching of markets insights for Latin America, supporting and conducting regional projects and helping to produce presentations for senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and conduct implementation of Moody’s Local strategies in Latin America like M&A transactions or greenfield
  • Review, prioritize and release of new products across the region
  • Conduct regional workstreams related to project execution
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy for large volume of data for markets insights and business proposals
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analyses, presentations and special projects as needed in the region like Town Halls

Experience/Qualifications

  • Graduate degree from an accredited institution (business administration, economics, accounting or engineering)
  • Master in Finance or Capital Markets is a plus
  • 2/3 years of work experience with exposure to financial services or consulting
  • Demonstrated familiarity with business and accounting concepts
  • Demonstrated skills in project management
  • Strong communication skills, evidenced through work experience
  • Knowledge in Excel and Power Point is required
  • Knowledge in project management tools is a plus
