You will be a core member of a cross-functional, integration team responsible for developing and executing on a vision for the Platform, working closely with product squads ensuring that integrations and features are adequately tested and documented. You bring a data-driven approach to problem solving and a passion for quality assurance in software and data, including experience in finding, investigating, and documenting bugs.
Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:
- Contribute to implementing the overall QA strategy and processes
- Work with product managers and engineers to map out QA use cases for the features being deployed within each sprint
- Engage with team members of other disciplines to ensure your testing accounts for all customer, data, product, and engineering scenarios
- Support QA efforts for regression testing, feature testing, and bug validation
- Support engineers in building test suites
- Create and own KPIs related to test suite quality for the engineering team
- Manage testing schedules, ensuring that the QA team meets expectations and deadlines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working in an agile development environment
- Preferred, but not mandatory: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, SQL, and JavaScript
- Previous experience with API testing utilising postman or similar.
- Preferred, but not mandatory: Experience with testing data integrations via both the API and UI.
- Experience with writing test plans, test cases as well as detailed bug reports
- Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems both independently and cooperatively
- Experience working on a collaborative product team passionate about Agile software processes, data-driven development, and experimentation
- Experience with Git and codebase management
- Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills
- Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving result
