Skills and Competencies

Must have:

  • A junior or graduate student currently enrolled in a program with a focus on project management
  • A strong interest in Project Management as a career is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail, research, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
  • Management skills
  • Strength in working both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritize effectively
  • Fluent in English Language
  • Knowledge in the following tools: Outlook, Microsoft Office, Confluence

Nice to have:

  • Prior work experience in coordinating or managing projects
  • High level knowledge in Power BI
  • Knowledge in the following tools: Salesforce, Gainsight, Asana, Marketing Cloud

Education

  • An undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in a program with a focus on project management
  • This is a 6 month internship starting in Q1 or early Q2 of 2025

Responsibilities

The Intern Project Manager is primarily responsible for assisting in the management and supervision of administrative aspects related to specific Product Portfolios. The Intern will work under close supervision and guidance from senior project managers. The Intern will collaborate with the Project Management Team and cross-functional teams, providing opportunities to gain exposure to and understanding of Project Management methodologies and processes within a professional environment. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and improving governance and current Project Management processes
  • Preparing and assisting in the development of new Internal Processes and Governance initiatives
  • Managing Client Communication on a set timing
  • Ad hoc Internal Report preparation
  • Assisting the Project Manager with reporting on client status and health
  • Supporting the Project Manager in tracking and monitoring client risks and issues
  • Learning and utilizing project management software

About the team

  • Governance and Project Management team is part of Global Insurance Customer Success team.
  • The team is composed of certified Project Managers with experience not only acquired within Moody's but also outside our organization. Some of us have a solid background working in insurance or banking industry before.
  • The team is focused on clients using RiskIntegrity Products (Solvency II, IFRS17, LDTI), AXIS, Scenario Generator, and Skyfall.
  • Our team develops Moody’s Standards & Best Practices for Governance and Project Management
  • Our team mission is to ensure we are managing successfully customers through their journey with us.
