The Data Solutions division is the commercial data business of Moody’s Analytics, bringing together a vast catalogue of data to help business decision-makers assess risks and opportunities. The Role / Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for participating in project implementations, by providing solution deployment expertise with a specific focus on data integration.

  • Participate in various implementation projects by providing assistance to clients.
  • Conduct Gap Analysis and/or gather requirements for projects, with a focus on third party data integration into client environments.
  • At all times liaising with the client as well as Moody’s teams and partners, focussing not only on the client’s requirements but also constraints internally around resourcing, product capabilities and revenue recognition.
  • Actively participate in enhancing our products suite and knowledge database (e.g. documentation review, feedback on products/project methodology, development of 'how-to' entries, etc.)
  • Manage project timelines, deliveries, resources and issues/risks.
  • Liaise with Product Managers when necessary (product enhancement requests, defects, etc).
  • Analyse data from clients and information partners
  • Become an expert on a big variety of data, from a lot of different data sources

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) required, preferably in computer science or equivalent
  • Proficiency in SQL: The candidate should have a strong understanding of SQL syntax and be able to write complex queries to manipulate and analyze data
  • Familiarity with Programming Languages: Such as Python or R that can interface with databases is often beneficial. This aids in automating tasks, building applications, or performing more complex data manipulations.
  • Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS): Whether traditional, such as Oracle or MS SQL Server or newer such as MongoDB is a strong plus.
  • Good analytical skills and persistence in problem solving.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

The Department / Team

  • The Solutions Delivery team provides expertise related to a number of Moody’s data products and services. We support the deployment of data solutions to our customers, and provide customers with the relevant expertise in their ongoing use of our data and related products. Our product consultants and project managers provide consultancy, implementation and project management services to customers throughout the implementation journey. Additional to these functions, the Solutions Delivery team are also responsible for managing and executing related change requests and help identify and resolve customer reported issues.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $86,500 - $141,100, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
