The Sales Operations Manager provides sales function support in relation to a newly established workflow to ensure there is a smooth transition for the APAC region. This will include performing controls in relation to data quality, process performance and identifying root causes for the Process Owner.
Under the direct supervision of the VP Sales Operations, the Manager is responsible for the operations in the region and assigns work to and manages the performance of Sales Operations associates.
On a regular basis, the Sales Operations Manager will:
* Assist the VP of Sales Operations in ensuring the SLAs are established, reviewed periodically and met by the team.
* Document process and create the relevant training materials
* Manage assigned portfolio within the region (APAC) and be accountable for the results produced by the team.
* Will handle its performance through assigning and reviewing work performed and providing mentor, training, and other support.
* Will supplement team by contributing to the work performed
* Responsible for delivering high levels of service quality to internal and external clients.
* Develop associates to meet evolving business needs.
* Supervise for and identify trends affecting SFDC data quality. Take remediating actions where appropriate / when necessary.
* Identify and raise issues that require VP, Sales Operations, Account Management, Relationship Management and/or Senior Management involvement. Engage appropriate Moody's Ratings personnel, produce briefing memos, and provide support so that issues are resolved on a timely basis.
* Build, and maintain excellent relationships with internal partners across Moody's, with particular emphasis on the Sales organization in assigned region(s).
* Work with Process Owner, Sales teams, GMO, Pricing and Billing to determine root causes and corrective actions for any issues that may arise.
* Lead and/or participate in projects as assigned.
* Can represent the Sales Operations team in internal meetings where applicable.
What you bring
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, marketing or any relevant field
* 2+ managing or developing people and experience with personnel management
* 4+ years' experience in a customer success/support role
* Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology a plus
* Well-developed IT skills including advanced Microsoft Office applications, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP)
* Ability to understand capital markets, ratings, legal and compliance matters
* Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
* Consistent record to understand issues/problems, identify root causes, develop and implement solution paths
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Great teammate with ability to work independently.
* Advanced command of oral and written English
