Duties: Build and develop complex quantitative financial models used by global investors to value and evaluate their structured finance portfolios. Audit monthly financial data collection and production process for collateral loan obligations (CLO) in the U.S. and EMEA regions. Conduct validation analysis of processed data and refine data as necessary. Provide feedback to internal stakeholders to improve internal data capture processes. Analyze, interpret and collate financial data from multiple sources and undertake market research to determine which relevant data points for extraction and implementation into existing data sets. Oversee the release of refined data sets to internal and external clients. Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to propose and implement software and process enhancements to data collection meet market and business demands.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics or related quantitative field plus 1 year of experience as an Analyst or related in the banking, credit, or finance industry. Must have experience performing data mining and modeling in the banking, credit, or finance industry. Must have experience performing financial analysis on large and complex data sets to forecast potential growth opportunities. Must have experience developing financial models using advanced financial analytical software using R and SAS. Must have experience writing data macros utilizing Microsoft SQL Database and Microsoft Excel VBA.
