Senior Director- Software Engineer - London - 9508BR

The Role / Responsibilities:
Senior Software Engineer who has remained on the technical tracked and who can lead the development deliverables for new initiatives.
  • Deliver software solutions quickly to a high-standard, bring a focus on the end user.
  • Willingness to work in multiple roles to ensure the delivery of software including, business analyst, architect, developer, tester, DevOps, etc.
  • Set the vision, strategy and roadmap for continuously improving of the whole SDLC processes within the team
  • Mentor other team member to ensure they benefit from your experience and insight
  • To select suitable technology solutions to solve the problem in a way that meets the needs of the business, clients, users and developers.
  • To fill a leadership role within the BDG team, providing advice to senior management on quality engineering advancements, and make strategic methodology and development recommendations
  • Work with clients and others in the organisation on early implementation and joint development projects.

  • Proven ability to deliver software that has a direct positive and lasting impact on the business
  • Extensive professional software engineering management experience
  • Expert in development activities throughout all stages of the SDLC.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major from top institution, Master as a plus.
  • Additional education attainment and/or certifications are preferred
  • Ability to define, implement and follow processes
  • Demonstrated aptitude for collaborating with other functional areas at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to track multiple programs concurrently and to report progress in an executive level dashboard to senior management
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
  • Significant strategic and tactical leadership experience
  • Also must be results-oriented and have a proven ability to get things done, sometimes through other people, including those not under direct management.
