Job Description

Role/Responsibilities

The Marketing Automation Specialist will report to the Head of Performance Marketing, part of the Marketing team within the Digital Insights operating unit. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of marketing technology to develop marketing infrastructure and lead scoring models that will increase user conversion and generate new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Defining, implementing, and monitoring marketing infrastructure and tactics (“always on”) across Moodys.com and other websites including marketing landing pages, calls to action, forms etc.
  • Applying marketing technology and best practices to support the Anonymous and Self-Registered Users strategy on Moodys.com
  • Partnering closely with the Lead Generation role to build lead scoring models that utilizes behavior and other user information
  • Ensuring that all our retention and acquisition campaigns (e.g. thought leadership, customer lifecycle, ABM etc.) are supported by the appropriate amount of marketing automation to achieve objectives
  • Building a process to dynamically generate target lists across both customers and prospects
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of the MarTech stack
  • Contributing to the development of the Moody’s Mobile experience from a marketing perspective
  • Monitoring and auditing marketing automation process for continuous optimization
  • Staying current on latest technologies and trends with the goal to optimize the team’s activities

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (Bachelors) required
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing with a proven track record of creating and executing successful automated email campaigns, lead nurturing, marketing automation using data
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing automation tools (preferably Marketo), and CRM (preferably Salesforce)
  • An understanding of content management systems (preferably Adobe Experience Manager), and web analytics tools (preferably Adobe Analytics) preferred
  • Experience being part of medium/long-term marketing infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of Account Based Marketing tools such as DemandBase, 6Sense, or similar is ideal
  • Proven ability to collaborate with others and deliver as an individual contributor
  • Strong detail orientation and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong positive attitude, with sense of self-motivation and accountability
