Job Description

Moody’s Analytics CRE is looking for two full stack developer. This team is responsible for product development on the software application CMM (Commercial Mortgage Metrics). The CMM™ solution is the leading analytical tool for combining property performance forecasts with commercial mortgage fundamentals to assess default and recovery for commercial real estate (CRE) mortgages. As a technology leader you should foster collaboration, identify opportunities, and develop potential within the team. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. The ideal candidate is an experienced using a range of different technologies and languages to develop applications. The candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the needs of multiple teams, ?systems, and products.

You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:?
  • Manage full development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing and deployment
  • Coordinate with other product teams to minimize redundancy in the overall tech ecosystem
  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs
  • Write technical documentation
  • Work with data engineers and analysts to improve software

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a technology leader
  • Experience in enterprise software design and development in an N-tier or micro services architecture.
  • Experience with UI development such as: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and UI frameworks.
  • Must have experience building .NET applications using .NET Framework and/or .NET Core, and C# 4.0 and higher
  • Experience as a Full Stack JavaScript Developer using frameworks/tools such as Node, TypeScript, Express, React.js, NextJS, NPM, GIT
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx) and UI/UX design
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attention to detail

  • An analytical mind
Pluses ??:?
  • Experience with Micro Frontends or Web Components
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience working with geospatial data and mapping interface
