Job Description

Looking for a seasoned 5 plus year SharePoint Software Developer. In this role, you will apply current graphics design and .NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server sites. Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing Sharepoint applications. You will participate in the testing process through test case review and analysis, test support and troubleshooting.

In this role you will be a member of the Moody’s DMTS team creating and supporting some of the industry’s leading software solutions for the finance industry. You will be involved in all aspects of SDLC to build and support key applications.
Typical Responsibilities include:
Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2016 and new 2019. Experience with working with older version of SP required.
Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code
comments and clear code.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science is preferred. However other fields like information systems, electrical or STEM will be considered.
Must have Microsoft products (SharePoint, Windows Server, SQL Server)
Programming languages (C#.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, JavaScript,)
AngularJS , Express JS, Node JS.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes a plus
Experience with GitHub a plus
Knowledge of distributed frameworks such as Spark/Kafka is a plus
Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, S3 is a plus
Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
