Are you a graphic designer with video editing skills who loves combining your creativity and artistic talent with the mastery of technologies to create high performing creatives and videos? Looking for that incredible, Graphic Designer with advertising and/or marketing experience to own majority of the graphic designing and brand communication strategy for a line of business - Moody’s Analytics Learning Solutions. You will be in charge of designing graphics and videos to enhance website traffic, create product brochures, catalogs, social media creatives and presentations amongst other design work.
You will use your experience and expertise as a Creative Designer to support various strategic marketing initiatives by developing effective and highly compelling content for marketing purposes. This requires both B2C and B2B graphic design experience.
Your work will impact many partners, will be highly visible across various audience segments and represents the "voice" of our business, helping to shape our corporate identity and reputation, hence you must consistently meet or exceed a high standard of excellence.
  • Be an integral part of the consumer experience and design as it comes to all customer marketing touchpoints
  • From brief to delivery, responsible for leading the stakeholder(s) and team to deliver the very best creative work
  • Design for various types of projects including brand identity (brands visual strategies, multiple types of collateral, advertising (traditional, online, outdoor, etc.) and more.
  • Create strong and effective design communications within our branding guidelines, while working closely with the creative team on integrated campaigns to ensure design integrity and consistency throughout all communications.
  • Facilitate the entire video-making process from ideation to distribution and everything in between.
  • Create videos to tell stories across multiple platforms and for various target audience.
  • Strategize and brainstorm with the team to collectively produce strong creative designs that “tell a story”
  • Show strong creative judgment and give clear and honest feedback
  • Build, protect and manage digital content; including the production of optimized graphics and HTML5 animations, gifs across a variety of consumer-facing digital channels including social media, email marketing and website. This includes verifying and approving any external vendor or partnering material to match the visual guidelines of our brand.
  • Ensure all content meets rigorous SEO guidelines (alt tags) through disciplined workflow and regular site audits.
  • Create UI designs based on market analysis, internal and customer feedback and usability findings for the website or mobile platforms.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, managers, writers, other designers, developers, and sponsored partnerships to coordinate designs execution to spec and on time.
  • Support ad-hoc marketing design requests across various channels.

Qualifications

Required

  • Must have a strong and high-quality portfolio demonstrating creativity, design expertise, strategic thinking, and software competence (creative Adobe suite) including images, GIFs and short videos
  • Post-secondary education in digital graphics, design and art for all marketing channels (social media, website, emails, whitepapers, brochures), animation/video editing or related experience
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a client-side or digital agency environment, designing, producing and publishing optimized marketing content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver), knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in HTML5 is a must
  • Strong knowledge of typography, copywriting, illustration, colour theory, storyboarding, and iconography
  • Strong grasp of UI/UX fundamentals across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms with great communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English Language (Speaking & Writing), bilingualism with French is an asset
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work in an agile team environment, solve problems and work under pressure
  • Disciplined typography and layout skills with high attention to detail
  • Self-starter, able to conceptualize and execute on focused messaging in order to drive brand awareness
