Learning Solutions, Marketing and Events
The Events & Outreach Associate will deliver system expertise and event support for the Americas Event team. This role will support the team in all aspects of event management and planning to ensure the flawless execution of a large volume of Moody’s Analytics live, multimedia and sponsored events.
  • Delivery of a program of multi-media and in-person events with oversight and support from senior members of the team
  • Following a workflow to support planned and ad-hoc multimedia and in-person events: including vendor liaison; speaker liaison; event promotion; live event management; and post-event analytics
  • Engaging with customers through the cycle of events through written, verbal and in-person communications.
  • Ensuring the customer experience is positive and enhances Moody’s brand and value proposition through all interactions
  • Supporting the team across event management and planning tasks in vendor sourcing; negotiation of costs; catering; AV; collateral; print and special materials; placing orders, on-site event management as required
  • Supporting the team in the delivery of event and outreach marketing plan(s) to include: creating invitations, website and other collateral; newsletters; data sourcing; aggregation and management; banner ads; placement on/in alternate websites and publications
  • Ensuring all data related to event and outreach activities is recorded and stored accurately in appropriate sources. With oversight delivering regular and ad-hoc reporting (data, analytics, insights) to the business and management
  • At least one year experience with event marketing is required, and B2B event marketing experience is preferred

Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Sound judgement and analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills are essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, business or marketing and events preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of successful interactions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with different individuals, personalities and levels across an organization
  • Experience with financial services and/or technical solutions is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Experience with a CRM, event management and marketing automation systems and software are beneficial. Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent
  • Some travel across the region may be required
  • Some heavy lifting may be required
  • Good time management and ability to prioritize projects.
  • Motivated and engaged individual who is eager to learn new skills and make recommendations for improving current processes.
  • Ability to work in an fast-paced office with constantly-changing demands and priorities
