Associate Financial Engineer - Shenzhen - 13691BR

The Role / Responsibilities:
  • Model and analyse Structure Finance transactions in Chinese capital market in Moody’s proprietary cashflow engine and software.
  • Build and validate collateral settings, relevant quantitative models and assumptions for Structured Finance transactions in Chinese market.
  • Work with developers to enhance and improve data management, model consistency and predictability.
  • Assist senior members of the team follow the Structure Finance market in China and contribute to various research initiatives.
  • Assist senior members of the team in supporting and training clients on software applications and the safe delivery/implementation of a suite of fixed income products.
  • Contribute to developing new methods for Structured Finance data/model quality control and customized solution.
CS Structured

  • graduate/second-level degree (e.g. MBA, Master’s) with an emphasis in financial engineering, engineering, math, or a related quantitative field preferred.
  • Solid quantitative skills and analytical problem solving ability required.
  • Good knowledge of financial concepts and basic accounting required.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server or another relational database required
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic and other coding languages(Python, C#, C++) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work and learn independently.
