Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A - New York - 10780BR

Role / Responsibilities:

We are currently in need of a highly organized, detail-oriented and hardworking individual who has exceptional communication skills to work as part of the Financial Planning and Analysis group, supporting the RD&A Business Unit.
  • Support sales & revenue forecast and analysis for RD&A business unit:
  • Sales forecast and analysis:
    • Develop short term sales forecast utilizing pipeline data.
    • Develop long term sales forecast using driver based analysis.
    • Work closely with business partners to develop Budget, Strategic Plans as well as quarterly forecast
  • Revenue forecast and analysis :
    • Identify actual revenue variances vs forecast.
    • Maintain and enhance revenue models to achieve greater accuracy.
  • Management Reporting :
    • Manage preparation of monthly reports and variance analysis, identifying key focus areas for management
    • Develop materials for senior management presentations, discussions and reviews
Department / Team:

The MA Admin department supports the financial planning and reporting for all MA business lines. Our team focuses on revenue and sales analysis for the RD&A organization.
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline or progress toward equivalent accountancy qualification
  • 3-5 years of relevant financial experience with planning and analysis processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience working with senior leaders on financial planning and/or reporting
  • Proven ability to manage projects including regular planning processes and adhoc analytical projects
  • Able to work both self-directed as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work under tight and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Superior skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience working with Hyperion Reporting, Salesforce, SQL languages is a plus
