The Assistant Director - Corporate Marketing (Graphic Designer), is responsible for leading cooperative efforts to ensure the successful development, delivery and maximum impact of the annual business plan. The role will lead activities across our branding and marketing channels to ensure the flawless execution and a positive impact on productivity, efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes. Responsibilities include:
  • Lead complex marketing communication design and advertising projects under limited oversight by the Director, Global Marketing & Events.
  • Devise visual branding strategies to grow awareness globally, enhance demand generation, lead nurturing and client retention.
  • Provide art direction to other creatives, and ensure smooth, integrated workflows within team and internal clients across all lines of business.
  • Oversee layout and design of periodic magazine in print and online.
  • Lead the storyboarding, content structuring and design of animated sales presentations.
  • Support internal UX design team in continuous enhancement of corporate website.
  • Manage light video-editing tasks and provide basic html coding tasks for the creation of email templates.
  • Manage corporate visual guidelines and train creative functions across the company in their correct application.
  • Manage web-based project collaboration tool by assigning projects to team members, managing client relationships, and providing periodic status reporting. Define workflows and SLAs for enhanced operation efficiency.
Corporate Marketing is part of the Global Marketing & Events Team at Moody’s Analytics.
  • This role is entirely focused on B2B marketing, branding and advertising in financial services. At least 5 years of relevant industry, advertising or web agency experience is required.
  • Demands significant critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. A Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record is required, and Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Interacts with a variety of levels inside the firm. A history of successful interactions with diverse stakeholders—and exceptional problem solving skills—is required.
  • Requires the ability to define strategic objectives, timelines and deliverables, ensuring successful and timely outcomes of initiatives.
  • Requires a proven cross-disciplinary success as a marketing, branding, creative, and technology expert, involving complex workflows.
  • Requires a high level of experience in managing a corporate brand including the governance and enhancement of visual guidelines and visual design templates.
  • Requires superb presentation and persuasion skills to lead strategy sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Requires expert level knowledge of the entire creative brief process, translating business objectives into compelling messages and visuals.
  • Expert knowledge of book layout, typography, image editing, infographics and icon design and pre-flight processes is required.
  • Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver, as well as Microsoft Office is required.
  • Knowledge of html, web design, video editing, and web content management is preferred.
