Data Analyst (Regulatory Reporting Team) - New York - 10721BR


Individual will be part of the Ratings Delivery and Data team supporting various initiatives. Primary duties include supporting Moody’s globally with ratings related database extracts as follows
  • Create and/or revise SQL scripts used for publications, projects, regulatory reporting and data integrity initiatives based on feedback from individuals in various business units.
  • Participate in projects that affect the team.
  • Provide leadership to the team by presenting recommendations to senior management regarding process improvements.
Department/Team: Data Governance
Qualifications: College degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Management (IM), Information Systems (IS), or related disciplines. Formal training in computer programming. Minor in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics a plus Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL query writing in a relational database environment (Sybase or SQL Server preferred). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VBA). Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to effectively communicate both technical and business terms. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Well organized, efficient and detail oriented. Strong sense of accountability, and a strong work ethic. Ability to research technical aspects and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
