Skills and Competencies

  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
  • Prior experience in an IT Change Management or Service Management role is not required, however a basic understanding of ITIL and technology principles is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in extracting, analyzing, and reporting data.
  • Ability to assess risk and make informed decisions.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a technical field is preferred.
  • Certifications such as ITIL are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Moody's is seeking an IT Change Manager to join the Service Management team within the Technology Services Group (TSG). This is a junior role with opportunities for future growth, where you will play a key and supportive part in our daily Change Management activities. You will work under the guidance of the Change Management team, executing Change Management in accordance with ITIL best practices.

  • Support the Moody’s Technology Change Management process by reviewing and approving day-to-day change requests, ensuring alignment with Moody’s standards.
  • Collaborate with change owners and technical teams on change documentation completeness and quality, verifying that all changes receive full approval prior to implementation.
  • Ensure higher-risk and higher-impacting changes are brought to the weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) for discussion.
  • Chair weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, enabling productive discussion and decision-making between various groups.
  • Prepare and distribute routine change reports and communications to leadership and key stakeholders, facilitating smooth implementation of changes through enhanced visibility and transparency.
  • Support the development and continued maturity of Change Management. Play a key role in influencing process adoption and enhancements.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of changes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Technology Services Release Managers, supporting the creation and documentation of change records as necessary, for critical maintenance and infrastructure activities.
  • Be committed to delivering positive experiences and quality services.
