Skills and Competencies

  • 5+ years of progressive working experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Post secondary education in instructional design, adult education or related field
  • Expertise in needs assessment, research, design and evaluation
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools (ex. Articulate, Xyleme, Dominknow, Elucidate) and Learning Management Systems (ex. Blackboard, NetDimensions).
  • Understanding of AI technologies or analytics to improve learning outcomes and course delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to develop detailed design documents and storyboards- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience designing solutions for the Financial Services Industry would be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with data-driven learning strategies and analytics.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or related field.
  • CTDP Designation considered an asset

Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging learning and performance focused solutions, for Moody’s clients and partners within the financial services industry and those who have an interest in expanding their knowledge.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create instructional content.
  • Design instructional materials that support Moody’s curriculum and learning strategies, including web-based solutions, print-based solutions, and instructor-led solutions, asynchronous & synchronous learning events, courses, resources, tutorials, and programs
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, as required, throughout the design process for content validation, course structure and delivery.
  • Evaluate and revise learning materials based on feedback and performance data.
  • Ensure instructional content aligns with business goals and learning objectives.
