Senior Systems Engineer (Endpoint - macOS)

Skills and Competencies

· Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and managing modern macOS endpoint infrastructure at scale with an MDM tool leveraging macOS Platform SSO (Microsoft Intune preferred).

· Deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Entra, and integrated components like SCEP/NDES Certificate Services.

· Proficiency in at least one scripting language (zsh or bash preferred) to develop automation and enhance system efficiency.

· Familiarity with using vendor provided API’s to extend system functionality, enable self-service workflows, and streamline processes

· A strategic user-first mindset with focus on creating seamless and efficient endpoint experiences, with the ability to plan for future possibilities and translate them into actionable strategies.

Education 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent area of study is preferred. 

Responsibilities

Design and implement enhancements to our macOS endpoint environment, ensuring a secure, optimized, and world-class user experience for our global team.

· Monitor and optimize macOS platform performance to ensure a seamless, reliable user experience.

· Operate with a high level of autonomy to resolve issues, coordinating with network, server, and security teams to maintain a consistent infrastructure.

· Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement security measures and ensure compliance through patching, encryption, and configuration management.

· Enhance automation by developing scripts and tools to improve the efficiency and reliability of macOS endpoint deployments and management.

· Define and improve the user experience by specifying standards for application performance and optimizing user interfaces for intuitive design.

· Contribute to the team’s vision by driving new capabilities against a published roadmap, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals.
