Skills and Competencies
6–9 years of proven technology experience as a Senior Software Developer with proficiency in Microsoft .NET technology stack.
Strong understanding of .NET Core, C#, and object-oriented programming concepts.
Strong experience with software design patterns and architectural principles; experience working with layered, microservices, or event-driven architectures on enterprise-scale applications.
Proven experience in design and development of web applications using .NET Core, MVC, and Web APIs.
Strong proficiency in database technologies, including SQL Server and Oracle; experience in optimization of complex queries and stored procedures. Experience with PostgreSQL is highly desirable.
Expertise in at least one or more front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, React, and Ext JS.
Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, and familiarity with cloud-native services.
Experience working on DevOps tools and practices, including GitHub, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Shell Scripting.
Experience in development of large-scale, enterprise-grade financial applications is highly desirable.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of effective teamwork.
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to boost productivity and efficiency.
Education
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer within the Asset Management technology teams, you will collaborate with global colleagues to develop and enhance our leading products in the Structured Finance area. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing solutions that address complex challenges faced by clients in the fixed income finance sector.Design, develop, test, and debug both new and existing software applications, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that meet business objectives.
Consistently write clean, maintainable, and efficient code utilizing C#, .NET, and associated frameworks and technologies, following industry best practices and coding
standards.
Participate actively in architecture discussions and take a lead role in evaluating design choices, recommending suitable technologies, and ensuring architectural decisions align with both business and technical objectives.
Engage proactively with cross-functional teams—including project management and quality assurance—to fully understand project requirements, clarify objectives, and deliver high-quality software solutions that align with client needs.
Work on deployment of applications and facilitate software upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to end users.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and efficiently resolve software defects and technical issues.
Provide ongoing technical support for applications, responding promptly to customer inquiries and ensuring optimal performance of deployed solutions.
Guide and mentor junior developers by providing technical leadership, sharing best practices, encouraging knowledge sharing, and offering constructive feedback through regular code reviews.
Lead by example in ensuring adherence to coding standards and software development methodologies.
Communicate project and task status clearly and regularly to stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment throughout the development process.
Contribute actively to documentation at each stage of the software development lifecycle, ensuring clarity, consistency, and ease of future maintenance.
