Skills and Competencies

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience with a proven track record of end-to-end delivery of software and services
• Proficient in developing software in one or more programming languages - Java, Scala, C++, Python, C#
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• Proven grasp of design patterns, coding best practices, and able to write unit-testable code.
• Ability to convey complex ideas to others in a concise and clear manner
• A proven ability to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
• Experience building production-quality RESTful APIs and Microservices
• Experience developing systems and services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency.  Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Education

BS and/or master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

This position is a software engineering role on the team that troubleshoots, maintains, and enhances the Numerated platform. This individual will work with their teammates, manager, and product owner to determine the work to be completed. This includes assisting in code reviews from teammates, helping on investigations in collaboration with other teams, and independently producing solutions that adhere to the engineering team’s standards and best practices. This role requires strong experience in Python, Postgres, and React.
