Skills and Competencies

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a large corporation.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial reporting software (ERP applications).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present financial information to senior leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Lead financial budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with business leaders.
• Analyze business trends and provide financial counsel for strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including variance and financial statement analysis.
• Communicate business drivers behind financial data to senior leadership.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in managing global compensation and headcount data.
• Consolidate regional financial information to support global business management.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness.

About the team

Our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for budgeting and forecasting Moody’s global headcount, annual compensation, and related expenses.
We contribute by providing detailed analytics and reporting, supporting global position management, and aligning with organizational goals and strategies. By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work in global financial planning, analytics, and cross-functional business initiatives.
