About the Role
Moody’s is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our Business Operations Team. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals or recent graduates who are eager to build a career in financial services, operations, and strategic business support. You’ll gain hands-on experience in vendor management, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to high-impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Partner with Finance Business Partners to support operational and strategic initiatives.
· Assist in managing internal request workflows, helping to improve efficiency and transparency.
· Support invoice tracking and approval processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Help maintain vendor records and assist in contract management and vendor review processes.
· Assist in the management and tracking of Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure alignment with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
· Contribute to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including data gathering and reporting.
· Maintain and update internal documentation (e.g., DE Wiki) to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
· Participate in ad-hoc projects that support business operations and strategic goals.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
· 0–3 years of experience in financial services, operations, or a related internship/co-op.
· Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
· Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and ability to create clear, professional presentations.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
· Exposure to vendor management, procurement, or workflow tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Coupa, Jira) is a plus.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
· Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
· Understanding of financial reporting or budgeting processes.
· Familiarity with knowledge management platforms like Confluence or SharePoint.
