Description du poste

At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways.

If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

Skills and Competencies
•    4–7 years in accounting, finance, or financial statement analysis, with strong exposure to GASB and FASB principles and financial data interpretation.
•    Solid command of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus.
•    Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, enforce standards, and drive consistency across global data operations.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
•    Self-motivated, able to prioritize and work independently in a dynamic environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and client-centric outcomes

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. Advanced degrees (MS, MBA, CFA) are desirable.

Responsibilities
•    Lead global knowledge efforts to standardize, simplify, and strengthen financial data quality across PFG operations.
•    Lead the development and maintenance of spreading guides and documentation; institutionalize knowledge to ensure accessibility, consistency, and alignment with best practices.
•    Resolve complex accounting and spreading queries from Financial Data Analysts (FDAs) and Outsourcers, reducing escalations to analytic teams and empowering teams to work more independently.
•    Analyse root causes of delays, errors, and rework; identify trends in mapping and adjustment issues to inform training, guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Drive global standardization of data spreading practices in line with rating methodologies; lead and contribute to projects that enhance throughput, reduce rework, and streamline review processes.
•    Collaborate with Lead Analysts, Ratings & Research (R&R), and Accounting Specialists to address exceptions, plan for upcoming changes, and implement updated guidance and training.
•    Design and deliver targeted training curricula; mentor junior Knowledge Managers and support onboarding of new team members.
•    Partner with IT Business Analysts to implement system enhancements driven by accounting updates and operational needs.
•    Represent PFG Knowledge Management in cross-functional forums and contribute to enterprise-wide KM initiatives.
