Skills and Competencies
- Strong ability to synthesize complex information and explain it clearly
- High degree of numerical competency
- High level of autonomy in researching technical details and deepening product knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of the Insurance business is preferred
- Exposure to Product Management is a plus
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science
- Available for a 10-week internship from June 15 to August 21, 2026
Responsibilities
Join Moody’s Analytics’ Insurance and Pensions Business Unit for a 10-week internship within the Risk, Finance, and Accounting Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research, analysis, and strategic projects that shape product development and market positioning. You will work closely with actuarial and accounting experts, contribute to technical discussions, and collaborate across teams to deliver meaningful insights that support innovation in the insurance and pensions space.
- Conducting research, performing empirical analysis, and documenting findings to support product development
- Analyzing and documenting strategy-focused market and competitor research
- Preparing clear and accurate minutes for technical actuarial and accounting meetings
- Collaborating with other teams within the Insurance Business Unit as needed
