Skills and Competencies:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for complex data deliverables.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good understanding of structured finance and capital markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; advanced interpersonal skills.
Experience in credit/financial data analysis and interpretation (structured finance experience preferred).
Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business/Accounting.
Responsibilities
Performs data, analytical, and research services supporting credit analysis for structured finance ratings.
Analyze and prepare complex deliverables, including loan pools and covered bonds, to support ratings and research.
Apply Moody’s standards to data inputs, producing key indicators, ratios, charts, and graphs in line with methodologies.
Scrub and validate financial data for use in research and ratings.
Review and interpret financial reports, official statements, and issuer documents.
Collaborate with ratings/support analysts to understand data requirements and adjustments.
Lead projects or process improvements as needed.
Review work of junior team members for straightforward tasks.
